Centre for Business History - University of Exeter - UK
The Centre for Business History was established on 1 March 2004 by the School
of Business and Economics (SoBE), with the active support of the School of
Historical, Political and Sociological Studies (SHiPSS). The members of the
Centre come from several Schools at the University and have expertise in
such areas as economics, history, accounting, finance, management, human
geography and psychology. Together, this provides a broad, interdisciplinary
focus on business history, once an area of commissioned, individual company
histories, which has in recent years established itself as an area of
considerable academic interest and merit.
